Innovative Grant Awards

The Cheltenham School District Foundation is proud of its multi-faceted grant initiative that provides diverse support to programs, integrating and supplementing the regular instructional programs of the Cheltenham School District. Many of these programs provide unique approaches to learning and pedagogy, while some are extracurricular opportunities offered to students outside of school hours. Most awards fund specialized instructional materials not included in a public school budget.

2022-23 Grants Have Been Awarded!

The Foundation is pleased to have returned to a normal grant-giving cycle for the 2022-23 school year.

2021-22 Grants

The Foundation held a mini cycle for grant giving due to Covid-19. It pleased us to be able to offer educators eight awards.

2020-21 Grants

The Foundation had to place a pause on grant awards in 2020 due to Covid-19. Instead, we donated a monetary gift to the district to assist with food insecurity and we also gave each school in the district a $1500 gift to use at the principal’s discretion.
