Dr. Pamula Hart – President
Pamula Hart has been a member of the Cheltenham community since 2000. She is currently the Director of Curriculum and Equity in the North Penn School District. Before assuming this role, she served as an elementary principal for 21 years in the Jenkintown, Lower Merion and Cheltenham School Districts. During her tenure as principal of Myers Elementary, she fell in love with the Cheltenham community and knew she wanted to raise her own children there. Her areas of interest are family engagement, community building, and curriculum development. Dr. Hart earned her M.Ed and Ph.D from the University of Washington, Seattle. She lives in Wyncote, PA with her husband and two children, Ella and Grayson. Ella is a freshman at Cheltenham High School.
Gina Kaufman – Vice-President
Gina D’Amato-Kaufman has lived in the Cheltenham community since 2005. Gina is the director of student affairs at The Pennsylvania State University Abington College. Prior to her current role Gina worked in a variety of student affairs positions at West Chester University, Rider University and Drexel University. Her portfolio has included fraternity and sorority affairs, new student orientation, leadership development and residence life. Gina holds a B.A. in media studies from Widener University and an M.S. in post-secondary counseling from West Chester University. In addition to CSDF, Gina She serves on the boards of Campus Philly and Abington Community and Police Together (C.A.P.T). Gina and her spouse Kevin reside in Elkins Park with their two children, Lucia and Carson who attend the CSD.
Kim King – Treasurer
Kim joined the CSDF as the Treasurer in January of 2019. His areas of responsibility include financial administration and management. Additionally he is also tasked with being the liaison to external reporting entities as well as auditors.
Kim is strategic business leader with broad and diversified experience in financial planning & analysis, valuation and strategic analysis. His experience spans across multiple industries and consulting. He worked for companies such as PricewaterhouseCoopers, Exelon Energy and AT&T. Currently, Kim is a full-time real estate investor where his areas of focus include multi-family holdings and development. . He earned his BS in Accounting from Temple University, and MBA and MS in Finance from Drexel University. Kim has been a member of the Cheltenham Community for over a decade. He currently resides in Wyncote, PA with his wife Pam, two teenage children Grayson and Ella, and their dog Charlie.
Marion Biglan – Recording Secretary
Marion is a proud resident of Cheltenham since 2004, and has two teenagers in Cheltenham High School who have been in CSD since kindergarten. Marion has been an active volunteer in the Cheltenham School District, starting on the Glenside Elementary PTO as the Family and Engagement Chair, then serving almost 9 years on the board of the United Parents Group (UPG), where she served as President for several years.
Having started her career as a 5th grade teacher, Marion is passionate about supporting educators because she knows first-hand that it’s the hardest and most important job in the world! She worked for over 18 years at Teach For America supporting teachers and managers of the national organization, serving as the founding executive director of Teach For America’s Chicago site and then the Vice President of People Development. In 2015, she started her own coaching and consulting practice, Illuminate Collective, and now partners with mission-driven leaders and organizations to deepen their leadership and impact. Marion is a certified professional coach through the International Coach Federation and a Certified Professional Diversity Coach through Coach Diversity Institute, and is committed to continuing her journey to learn and foster equity through her work and in her community.
Lisa Angelettie – Communications
Lisa Angelettie MSW is a psychotherapist and USA Today bestselling author who has written for The New York Times, Gannet News Service, Publishers Weekly, and Today’s Black Woman. She served on the board of Cheltenham High School’s Vocal Performing Arts Boosters for 5 years, and is a member of the Information Marketing Association, National Mental Health Online, and Delta Sigma Theta Inc., a public service organization. Lisa earned her BA in Journalism from Howard University in Washington D.C. and her MSW from New York University.
She currently resides in Elkins Park, Pa with husband Deric, her four daughters, and two naughty labradoodles. Lisa enthusiastically serves on the School District Foundation Board as a commitment to supporting the educators who have shaped and inspired the lives of her girls.
Kevin Kaufman – District Liason
A township resident and district parent for more than a decade, Mr. Kaufman has more than 21 years of experience in strategic public and media relations, communications, marketing, and publications. Since 2012, Mr. Kaufman has served as the Associate Director of Advancement Communications at Saint Joseph’s University, where he is finishing a master of arts degree in writing studies. Prior to that, he was the Assistant Director of University Communications at The University of the Arts, News Bureau Director at Drexel University, Public Relations and Marketing Coordinator at the consulting engineering firm Pennoni Associates and Assistant Director of Athletic Communications for Publications at the University of Pennsylvania. Mr. Kaufman earned a master of education degree in athletic administration from Temple University and a bachelor of science degree in news-editorial journalism from West Virginia University.
Betsy Conway – Membership
Betsy Conway is a lifetime resident of Cheltenham and a CHS graduate. She earned her Master’s of Education Degree from Beaver College, which is now named Arcadia University. She was an educator in Cheltenham for 36 happy years. She and her husband Tom, an educator in Cheltenham for 34 years, have a son, a daughter and 4 grandchildren. Betsy believes retirement is spectacular because it allows her to donate time to activities she loves and feels are important, such as our Cheltenham School District Foundation, which enriches the education of our Cheltenham students, volunteering in various areas of our school district and mentoring. Betsy also has a passion to help shelter animals and will accept all donations of used towels, blankets and bedding to give to the shelter.
Elisa Davidson – Scholarships
Elisa, her husband, and four children have lived in Cheltenham Township for five years. Elisa has immersed herself in volunteer opportunities. She supports her kids and their schools by serving as PTO President at Elkins Park School, as well as chairing school events. She is grateful for the opportunities she has to be with her own kids as well as other children in Cheltenham. Elisa earned her BA in psychology from Georgetown University and her MSW from New York University. She worked as a social worker at a family counseling center in Brooklyn, NY, prior to moving to Wyncote, PA.
Johanna Lee – Finance
Johanna has lived in the Elkins Park neighborhood of Cheltenham since 2011. Her 3 children – Lucas, Matthew and Jacob – all attend schools in the Cheltenham School District. She is the Treasurer of the Wyncote PTO and actively participates in whichever school PTO her children are attending. She is the Director of Data Analytics and Reporting at Cooper University Health Care in Camden, NJ where she implements and optimizes financial systems. She has 20+ years of experience in healthcare finance and operations, which includes financial planning and analysis as well as healthcare billing and insurance reimbursement. Johanna enjoys cooking, baking and traveling. She and her husband, Anh Ngo, are passionate about exposing their boys to diverse cultures and experiences while creating lasting family memories together.
